DBS checks (including DBS Update Service status tracking), Right to Work, professional registrations such as HCPC, training certificates, and employment references. You choose which documents are required for each role and Onboardly collects and tracks them.

Each upload is run through OCR and AI validation to confirm it is the right document, is legible, and matches the candidate. Anything the AI is not confident about is flagged for manual review rather than auto-rejected, so you stay in control of edge cases.

Onboardly requests references by email, validates the responses, and automatically chases referees who haven't replied. Personal email addresses (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, outlook) are flagged as non-professional so you can decide whether to accept them.

Onboardly chases automatically on a frequency you control — daily, every two days, or weekly — so candidates are followed up consistently without you lifting a finger. Every action is recorded in an audit log.
